Deborah joined us at Token Oak Equine Service in 2001. She completed her Veterinary Assistant training after graduating from Charles County Community College with an Associate in Arts degree. She is a member of the American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians.   Deborah's experience with horses started as a young girl on a pony ride and her love of horses has continued into adulthood.  Prior to working for Dr. Miller, she was employed by Southern Maryland Equine Veterinary Service.

Linda Roe Miller V.M.D.
 
Dr. Miller graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979.  She founded Token Oak Equine Service in 1987, after practicing veterinary medicine in Southern Maryland for eight years.  During that time she was an associate veterinarian working with Clarence H. Little DVM and Henry A. Virts DVM.   She developed a special interest in equine dentistry in 1999 and pursued extensive training and continuing education in this discipline.  Dr. Miller is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP).  She is also Certified Advanced  by the International Association of Equine Dentistry (IAED).  Dr. Miller has served on the Certification Committee for the IAED.
In recent years, Dr. Miller has had the opportunity to teach and mentor young  veterinarians in Mongolia.  This outreach is part of Christian Veterinary Mission and Mongolia V.E.T. Net.  During October, 2010 Dr. Miller  worked in Zambia with a team from Christian Veterinary Mission.
